When you work with us, you get a fixed price quote that provides everything under one roof including floor plans and 3D renders, design assistance, all labor and materials, permits, inspections, and a one year project warranty. You won’t be worrying about material arrival times, managing schedules, pulling permits or scheduling inspections.

Q: What is it like to work with you?
Work happens on weekdays, roughly 8 to 4, but you don't need to be home for any of it if you don’t want to be. Either way, you'll know the day before who's coming, when, and what they're doing.
We keep the work contained to the work area. During a basement finish, the mess stays downstairs behind dust containment at the stairwell, with the crew coming and going through one door for the entire project. During a bathroom remodel, we'll tell you upfront exactly how long you're without that room so you can plan around it. Either way, the space gets swept and the tools get put away before anyone leaves. Your house at 5pm looks like a house.
You'll meet our amazing team of trade partners throughout the project, with Luke being there to get them set up the first day they’re working in your home.

Q: What’s your pricing model?
We use a fixed price pricing method, not an hourly rate or a cost-plus percentage.
After a 60-minute visit to your home, you get one number for the whole project — and that's what you pay.
Before we get there, here's where most of our projects land:
Average Bathroom: $35,000 – $70,000
Average Basement: $60,000 – $150,000
Those are actual ranges from work we've completed, not starting-at figures. Your number depends on the size of the space, what's behind the walls, and the selections you make — which is why the visit comes before the quote.
Nothing is priced until we've been in your home. We build the scope in writing, trade by trade, then price it — so by the time you see a number, every line behind it is already decided.
Q: Who will be working in my home?
Your project will be completed by a combination of our in-house team, including Luke and Troy, and a trusted group of trade partners we work with consistently.
We don’t send projects out to the lowest bidder or bring in a different crew every time. Instead, we’ve built long-term relationships with experienced electricians, plumbers, flooring installers, painters, and other specialists who know our standards, our process, and how we expect our clients to be treated. Because we work with the same people again and again, everyone knows how to communicate, coordinate, and work together as one team.

Selections. Kristen walks you through every single decision that needs to be made before construction begins, including the cost attached to each, so everything is picked before demo day.
Demo. You'll have a project completion date and a client portal where you can see the schedule, the budget, and where things stand at any given time.

We’re Luke and Kristen Larson, the husband-and-wife team behind Larson Basement & Bath.
Since launching in 2021, our goal has been to transform what it feels like to hire a contractor. We offer a true design-build experience — meaning we work with you from design, to layout, to permits, to construction. . . managing the entire project all under one roof, and making sure you don’t get overwhelmed during the process!
When you work with us, you’ll get expert guidance, including curated materials and 3D renderings of your new space that help you visualize your dream space. Our aim is to make the process uncomplicated, transparent, and tailored to you! The busy homeowner who wants it done right — without having to manage a dozen moving parts.
We hired Luke and Kristen to remodel our master bathroom and closet. This was our first time remodeling a space and they made the experience enjoyable. All our questions were promptly answered, and everything was explained to us in great detail. Luke even answered some of our questions on the 4th of July!
Kristen was super helpful during the design process! We really appreciated the multiple 3D renderings she put together throughout the project because it helped us make design decisions. She also helped us locate a vendor for our vanity because we were struggling to find one that we liked at several stores around town.
The website they used for communicating, approving design selections, and issuing payment was amazing. It helped keep everything organized, the project on track, and the project kind of on budget.
We are really impressed with the craftsmanship of everything. The results of our project really exceeded our expectations! Every team member that assisted with this project took pride in their work, and it really shows!
