We are Luke and Kristen Larson. We opened Larson Basement & Bath in August of 2021 with the goal of remodeling the contractor experience. Communication: We know how fun it is to “break ground” on your remodel! But we also know it’s not necessarily exciting to have part of your home torn apart, or to have people you don’t know working in your space. We make sure you know the team that will be working in your home, and when they will be there each day. We are readily available by email or text throughout your entire project to address any questions or concerns. We strive to make sure you’re never left wondering, “What happens next?”
Quality Work: You’ve heard the horror stories: a contractor started work, only to leave it unfinished for 6mo. Or worse, they ghosted their client completely. This is something we never do. We lay out a clear path to completion for your project so you can count on it being done on time. We don’t plan our projects haphazardly - we work intentionally with you and our team to make sure we have a schedule that works for you.
A Singular Focus on Your Remodel: When it’s time to start your remodel, that is our focus until it’s done. Bouncing from job to job without finishing is unprofessional and a sign of an unorganized contractor who doesn’t respect your time or your home. We stay focused on your project from start to finish, because getting it done right and on time is what matters most.
Cleanliness: Though dust and debris are part of the process of remodeling, they don’t have to be a part of your home. We use things like dust barriers and air scrubbers to contain the dust particulates, and after the job is complete we bring in a professional cleaner. When we’re done, your new space will be live-in-ready.
1 Year Warranty
In addition to everything listed above, we offer a 1 year workmanship warranty on everything that we purchase and install.
We’ll be honest though. This one year warranty is legally required of all contractors in Minnesota.
But here’s how we take it one step further.
We know life gets busy, and reaching out to your contractor about something small may not be on the top of your list. So, ten to eleven months after your project is finished we will reach out to set up a warranty visit. We will stop by and inspect the work to make sure it is holding up as it should. If anything isn’t holding up the way it is supposed to, we’ll take care of it for you.
For us, we get to inspect our work to make sure we are continually following the best installation practices. And for you, you get peace of mind knowing that you’re working with a team who cares enough to continue serving you well beyond the completion of your project.
